M. Silver staffers socialized with celebrities while attending
the world premiere of Amelia, the new movie starring Hilary Swank and Richard
Gere on Tuesday night representing our client the Aruba Tourism Authority, who
sponsored the premier with Vanity Fair. As the film was based on Amelia Earhart
and her flying expeditions, the Aruba Tourism Authority provided luggage tags
to the guests in attendance to use on their next flight to Aruba.
Beyond the traditional public relations work of working with
journalists, another key part of public relations is partnerships and
promotions, which creates new avenues to promote clients. Using M.Silver’s
relationships with media partners, travel companies and others businesses we
find partnerships and/or promotions that have synergy with our clients. With
the movie Amelia, M. Silver was able to take a storyline of travel, and blend
it with promoting travel to Aruba.
